build an electric bike ,something i have been thinking of for a while ,saw the ad for you book and ordered from amazon, trust you got your cut , and ever since then ive been locked in mortal combat with forums and web searches as i learn more , but the trouble is the more you learn the more you realise you dont know , think im goin down the rabbit hole and its all your fault LOL

Yep outer casing spins. Called an outrunner, meant to have more torque. The motor has a 'slight' bearing noise around 3000rpm. But it sure sounds good for the rest of the range.

I was displaying this to rev heads,thought the labels appropriate.

No way, man, I'm cool. Apparently, "giving up" was a good way to rethink my project... and restart with my feet on the ground. My 'rashmoto" will come up eventually ("rashmal" is hebrew for electricity)
