My biggest concern with Lipo (Lithium Cobalt), is safety. These cells are pretty volatile, and the risk of one bursting into flames, and setting off a catastrophic chain reaction is just too risky, especially sitting in my garage on the charger in the middle of the night. These cells certainly are powerful and relatively light, but just too risky for me. I would definitely consider them for a racebike though.
