Often demo units are pre-production, so I would assume those units would available to journalist before the pre-order customers production-ready units.

Bramscher is doing something on stage, audio is not coming through, and video is getting about 1 frame every 10 seconds.
Twitter feed is blowing up with negative comments about the video feed.

According to Bramscher, Emplule R will begin shipping in June. The standard Empulse won't be shipping until 2013.
