thats why when using lipo cells, carry a fire extinguisher with you...
you can see that happen a lot at the RC car tracks... that's why they require anyone using lipo's on the track to charge them in a fire proof bag...

Yes, thats why I won't use them on my bike. Every season I see at least a dozen Lipo fires at my RC flying field. That and the fact that they puff for no apparent reason. On Visforvoltage.org, there is an electric scooter with LIFE (LIFEPO4) that burned while sitting still.
